The solution to this problem is more truth, not less.
No, it’s not. You cannot forever beat something into the ground and think it’ll magically make a dent someday. And even if by some miracle it does, wouldn’t you want to know if you could have cut out years or even decades had you been smart about it? And what does it say to you that such simplistic thinking as “more truth, not less” — is canon across echo chambers that think they’re part of some revolution in reason:
Then outright reject it when called to account?
Congratulations on your book. You wanna see the real results of your work and the legacy you’ll leave behind? Watch how people handle what I have to say. And look back to how you did 3 years ago when you had a chance to be the catalyst to turn the tide — and pissed it away over pride. Had you listened to me, you could a written a book for the ages. My idea and my work, but you’d get the glory, Glenn. And I’d be happiest person on the planet just for the truth to see the light of day:
And how it would light the dawn of a new day.
You’d be the rare person of influence to see what so few “can.” They’re busy. And why bother considering outside-the-box ideas that would work when you can stay busy on what won’t? Conventional methods have repeatedly failed and won’t put a pinprick in the atmosphere of absurdity suffocating the country. The problems that plague America are interrelated, and anything short of addressing that is going nowhere. But everyone’s wrapped up in their wheelhouse — operating under umbrellas of interests that don’t account for complexities outside of them.
You had a chance to put up a mirror to all of America: A nation that’s gone out of its mind. How many of those who love you now when love to hate you then? But in losing their “love,” you would gain the respect of those looking to return to a time when tough love was timeless. And I’m not talking about big talkers who talk in small ways in their “love” of tough love (as long as they’re doing dishing and not the taking).
I’m talking about those who still appreciate the immeasurable value of “cruel to be kind” (even when that “cruelty” is coming their way). As Shakespeare said, “I must be cruel only to be kind; Thus bad begins, and worse remains behind.”
Mark my words – with the conventional approach you all employ, worse is the way ahead (and I’ve been proven right on this prediction over and over again for decades). I’m sure it’s intoxicating to amass a following and feel like you’re making a difference. But I’m gonna weigh your impact partly as a reflection of your community: How people behave, not what they believe. If you can’t get that right, I don’t care how big your following gets — you’re taking this nation nowhere. What’s more, you’re making matters worse and being rewarded for it.
I’m going to show you how to fix the problem you don’t even know you have. And I assure you — the gains you get now pale in comparison to what awaits you. You should not need an incentive to objectively apply your principles, but the incentives are off the charts for the astute that can see the bigger picture. Changing the dynamic of debate and demanding better from your audience — will undoubtedly drive some out.
But that loss will be a drop in the bucket compared to what you’ll gain by broadening your audience and making a measurable impact. As these communities are interconnected: Once one of ’em raises the bar of debate and gains subscribers (along with worldwide attention for exposing lies on a level that changes the trajectory of America) — others will follow suit.
But you’d be the gold standard that started it all. And whatever gains you get on that book you just published – would be pennies on the dollar compared to the one you could have written (and could still write if you do now what you should have done then): Lead by example (especially when it comes it a cost).
All that awaits you: And all ya gotta do is do what you say you do. And my idea is a framework for debate that boxes you in to do exactly that. You won’t like it — but here’s the deal: Your opposition won’t either. And who knows, you might learn to love embracing challenge, changing your mind, and the fruits from demanding across-the-board accountability.
This — is not that. This is Broadcasting Beliefs About That:
Proof positive is that I’m practically spit on for following principles your crowd promotes on a daily basis. And we ain’t talkin’ run-of-the-mill politics here. It’s a matter of mathematical certainty on the biggest & most costly lie in modern history (which shaped everything you see today). Your crowd comes up with the most asinine excuses I’ve ever seen — and The Math Club ranks with my favorites. This outfit gleefully ignores the evidence to redirect the “debate” to find meaning in mathematical certainty having no meaning: Instead of simply recognizing that the issue is a matter of quantifiable fact (in an industry where fractions of a millimeter matter).
It’s a sign of the times that even on matters of math — there are competing camps for rigging your own reality.
It’s impossible for you to fathom the mountain of childish & spectacularly stupid shit I’ve seen on this topic for 20 years. And you and your kind are unwittingly cultivating this crap in a culture that argues in a vacuum incapable of correlating anything (as if blowback has no bearing on 9/11 & today).
Shallow thinkers do not think beyond the immediate and the observable. They usually take information at face value and only look at immediate consequences. They are not capable of looking at all sides of an issue or think deeply about the issue before making decisions or drawing conclusions . . .
They also believe that their opinion is based on deep thinking because they genuinely believe that their opinion is based on truth and facts. Whereas, deep thinkers look at the whole sequence of events and the consequences. When we dig deeper, we understand better. We can compare different outcomes, examine, tear apart, and make cognizant judgments that are derived from different mental models.
Left and Right, I’ve yet to find a single person who digs beyond the depth of their immediate domain of interest. In our entirely transactional times, America endlessly rehashes topics of today — never once considering the totality of events that created them (or even having a notion of the need to). With the issues I address — you might as well be saying the Civil War wasn’t germane to the assassination of Lincoln.
As I have an idea that could turn the tide — virtually all conversations on here fit under the umbrella of mine. If you’re not interested in such discovery, let’s not waste each other’s time. Thank you! 🙏
Incredibly, even that courtesy is too much to ask anymore.
